One of the most hardiest of pines. Quite drought resistant and perhaps the most fire resistant pine in the world. It can survive temps down to -10 but it’s notable feature is it is one of the few pines capable of epicormic growth. It has longer needles than the common radiata pine which gives it a unique appearance.
