A charming little woodlander native to the wooded mountains of China. A rhizomatous plant growing to about 30cm, in early spring it produces vivid blue flowers that are quite stunning. Very easy to grow and quite hardy, often in a hot summer it will become summer dormant. A shaded moist position suits this one just nicely
