A hardy small tree grown for its fruits which an be eaten either raw or cooked. It is used for a variety of dishes in Mexico including ponche, an alcoholic fruit punch traditionally served warm around the Christmas and New Years Eve period. Quite easy to grow, it is not a demanding tree and can be grown in a variety of soils. Showy white flowers are a bonus in spring.

Plant and Shipping Information


All plants are currently grown in 100mm to 140mm pots and will be carefully packaged, and in most cases, sent without pots. 

We ship Australia wide with the exception of Northern Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania.

We send via Australia Post (Standard) with a flat rate charge of $25.

Plants will be carefully packed and sent on Mondays (regardless of day the order is placed) to reduce the amount of time the plant is packaged.

When you receive your plants we recommend you unpack them immediately and hydrate them. We recommend planting or potting your plants as soon as possible after delivery.
