A native to the Mediterranean, this tree grows to between 5–25 m tall. Its foliage is deciduous or late-falling in winter or spring, depending on climate, young shoots and leaves are densely tomentose, giving it a greyish appearance. Once grown for its large acorn cap that was used to make tannin, nowadays it is quite a uncommon oak

Plant and Shipping Information
All plants are currently grown in 100mm to 140mm pots and will be carefully packaged, and in most cases, sent without pots.
We ship Australia wide with the exception of Northern Territory, Western Australia and Tasmania.
We send via Australia Post (Standard) with a flat rate charge of $25.
Plants will be carefully packed and sent on Mondays (regardless of day the order is placed) to reduce the amount of time the plant is packaged.
When you receive your plants we recommend you unpack them immediately and hydrate them. We recommend planting or potting your plants as soon as possible after delivery.
